Their website is a blog dedicated to all the college students out there in search of an outlet or a distraction from the intensity and pressure of the inevitable future.
Urbanized Beauty is a company founded by three close friends from Bolivia who went to school together. Their vision is to repurpose all waste into useful goods and their mission is to turn waste into innovative and eco-friendly products. Their soaps are good for the environment, all natural, handmade, and locally sources.
Their exfoliating soaps are made with repurposed coffee grounds. They do not use any chemicals, palm oil, or do any testing on animals. Even the packaging is 100% recyclable. These soap bars are the perfect size for gifts durig the holidays and also for traveling if you’re on the go this winter season. This soap is supposed to alleviate eczema, psoriasis, and reduces the appearance of cellulite, acne, and stretch marks. My brother actually has psoriasis and we’re in the process of testing this out and I have to say the results are actually pretty astounding so far. Check out my Instagram account in the next couple weeks for an update on that!
The soap I tried out was cocoa vanilla scented with coffee grounds in it. I am honestly obsessed with this soap now. It really does exfoliate like you wouldn’t believe and it just leave you feeling fresh and new. It’s not the squeaky strange feeling of chemical-induced store-bought soaps. It makes my skin feel soft, protected, and tightened all at the same time. It comes with a pack of three so I have one in the shower, one in the kitchen, and one on the bathroom sink. My guests love the smell and the look of it and I love the way it makes me feel.
Urbanized Beauty partners with local shops and businesses to collect their consumed goods so they can turn them into new products. They only use the highest quality ingredients in the process when converting these repurposed goods into products. They believe in making products that feel comfortable, are non-toxic, and made with care. Their items are available for purchase through Amazon and hopefully soon they’ll be expanding to new markets! Please check out their Instagram @urbanizedbeauty and their website as well to learn more about them.
